We are located in Northern British Columbia's Eastern slope of the Continental divide, which consists of 144,000 acres of high mountain rugged rocky peaks, lush valleys, and crystal clear creeks and rivers.

Whether you want to hunt from our comfortable base camp or one of our beautiful high country spike camps, we will tailor the hunt you have always dreamed of.

If you want to ride a pack of sturdy mountain horses, or the comfort and flexibility of a truck and ATV, we can accommodate your journey through the Northern Rockies.

Born and raised on a farm in Eastern Saskatchewan, Steve has spent his lifetime outdoors.

Fishing, hunting, and trapping from an early age solidified his true passion for the outdoors. 

At 20 years old, the draw of the North pulled him to become a wrangler in the Olgivie Mountains of the Yukon.

16 years ago, Steve began a career guiding people across the west, from Saskatchewan, Yukon, and the North West Territories.

Combining all his experiences and drawing from the people he has met, and learned from, along the way; Steve will make Alpine Valley the best place to make your dream hunt a reality.
